Studies from New England to Florida prove the Dragonfly II superior to competitive propane traps on all four types of mosquitoes: Forest (tree hole or container breeders), River (snowmelt mosquitoes found in streams, rivers and lakes), Ocean (Salt marsh mosquitoes), and freshwater Swamp mosquitoes. Forty versions of Dragonfly II prototypes were tested in a development effort taking over three years. The chart above compares average collections from the Dragonfly II to the leading propane trap. Center for Disease Control (CDC) trap collection = 100%. |
